    There has been a lot of praise flying around for the A43 Emergency works, it is with good reason. I would like to pass on my praise for your assistance with this scheme. The guys working on site were committed to providing a quality job, often under the pressure of time and knowing that the carriageway was required to be reopened every day. Never did safety give way to the pressure of time.

    In particular I would like to mention Tom Overthrow, his control and coordination of your various teams was excellent. I had every faith in his management which allowed me to concentrate on other areas of the construction.

    I was delighted to return from leave to find that the Chieveley scheme was successfully completed in 6 weekends as planned. This is a great achievement for all the parties and a tribute to the collaborative work undertaken by all through the project; from design, ECI, planning and comms to delivery.

    I’m just emailing to say thank you for getting the lining done so quickly , and thank the men for the way they dealt with the bays at the above site yesterday.

    The bays weren’t square and on a radius  and the lads had to work the measurement’s out and deal with a difficult resident wanting his own way.

    They were very professional and polite .

    Just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved for getting the lane line sorted today on the A3 NB in Guildford.

    14 minutes from start to finish to clear all the studs from the carriageway and put the temporary lane line for the narrow lanes back in, brilliant!!
