Whether you love shopping there or would prefer to miss out on a trip to the renowned Swedish retail outlet, there’s no getting around the fact that IKEA is a BUSY place to visit – whatever the time of year.
So it’s very flattering to announce that Wilson & Scott have been awarded the contract for Car Park Line Marking IKEA’s flagship store in Wembley, London during this festive period. And it’s heartening to be told that we are in prime position to line mark other IKEA Car Parks throughout the UK during the lead-up to Christmas – a traditionally hectic season.
It was Wilson & Scott’s ability to carry out this work with minimal disruption to the store’s customers and IKEA’s operational activities that helped to secure the work. Health and Safety of the general public and staff at this popular site is a top priority and foremost in the mind when the 3-man crew carried out their line marking duties.
Richard Scott, Area Manager for Wilson & Scott comments, ‘Whilst price can be a key factor in awarding contracts like this, it was our ability to deliver these services around the daily activities of IKEA Wembley, along with their confidence in the quality of our work and service, which helped secure this business’.
The work carried out by the crew, consisting of Michael Draper (Site Surveyor), Andy Matuszczyk (Charge Hand) and Ryan Killick (Second Man), included Double Yellow Lines, Roundabouts, Junctions, Arrows and Lettering, Pedestrian Crossings, Disabled Parking Bays, Parent and Child Bays, Standard Bays, Safe Walking Routes and some alterations to existing markings.
Richard added, ‘We hope to secure more business with this popular retailer throughout the coming months, which will demonstrate our abilities to organise and deliver top quality Car Park Line Marking services to the retail market’.
